This Sunday took us for a race in Norwich to give the NCA Spring Circuits Series a go!! Technically the most challenging road circuit / airport car park Harrison has ever ridden.

This weekend see’s the start of the mud sweat and gears. I’m hoping to make a good challenge for the under 12s.
If you are new to Mud Sweat & Gears it’s a great event and really well run with plently of communications from the G and Matt.
Just come and have a go even if your young, I was only 6 years old when I first raced.
We found an advert in our local newspaper about a go ride cycle scheme being run by Essex Roads Cycling Club. So on a Saturday afternoon we went down to see what it was all about. Great kids on bikes, wow loads of kids on bikes as we unloaded the bike out of the car.
Reported to the organiser Graham who then signed us in and gave us an overview of the afternoon. A static bike on a turbo, bike handling and a maybe a short race at the end.
Well Harrison (H) was way to small for the static bike sat on a turbo trainer but try stopping H, he did have a go but his leg reach was way too small.
Then outside to ride his bike, well my observation was that H was brimming with confidence this soon became clear for his size and age that he could confidently handle the British Cycling course set out with small cones and a limbo.
